    Flight Paramedics are responsible for the safety of patients prior to and during transport to medical care facilities. This includes provision of basic as well as advanced life support measures required to stabilize critically ill or injured patients. Flight Paramedics must have the ability to establish positive interpersonal and professional relationships.   

    • Maintain standards of safety for patients and crew.
    • Provide basic and advanced patient care prior to and during transport.
    • Provide compassionate and efficient patient care.



    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS
    • Current paramedic license
    • Trauma certification required prior to hire and advanced trauma certification or audit required within one year of hire (i.e. TNATC, TNCC, ATLS, and PHTLS); until advanced trauma is obtained, must complete the Company trauma bridge course prior to proficiency skills evaluation
    • NRP and adult trauma training
    • National registry (NREMT-P) certification
    • Three years ALS experience 


    • Professional certification (i.e. FP-C, CCEMTP)
    • Experience in critical care or emergency department
    • Flight experience
