    Our fleet includes King Air 90 and 200, Pilatus PC-12, and Learjet. Our teams fly in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Utah, Wyoming and Wisconsin.

    Responsibilities

    The primary responsibility of the Aviation Operations Specialist is to coordinate the testing and recordkeeping requirements of the Company’s Control of Alcohol and Drug Use policy. He/she will maintain compliance in all areas of the plan, provide outstanding customer service to all internal customers; problem solve and assist internal and external customers with a variety of related compliance duties and responsibilities.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Schedule and communicate drug testing locations and related details to candidates and employees.
    • Maintain company random drug and alcohol testing pools as well as coordinating random draws with 3rd party provider
    • Provide statistical data to company in regards to drug and alcohol testing information
    • Maintain company compliance for DOT/FAA regulation of drug & alcohol testing
    • Prepare for and provide assistance during audits
    • Coordinate with 3rd party MRO in communicating with employees that have non-negative test results
    • Maintain all drug and alcohol testing records in compliance with DOT/FAA regulations and in accordance with company policy
    • May coordinate other compliance related duties
    • Perform other related duties as needed or assigned
    • Monthly reporting
    • Manager county/state/federal aircraft registration requirements
    • Expense reports
    • FAA corrspondence
    • Landing permits
    • Aviation equipment tracking
    • Some administrative duties

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates for this position will possess:

    • At least one year experience working in some capacity with DOT (preferably FAA) Drug and Alcohol testing programs
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills – including the ability to listen to others
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail – including office Administrative Assistant experience
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Proficient in Windows based computer programs
    • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong commitment to customer service
    • Punctuality and dependability
    • Ability to work as part of a team
